Next morning I woke up early. I walked along the banks of the Nemunas river to the old town. There was a path that went straight down by the river. Only for the last part of the journey to the old town did I walk down there.
There were some fishermen fishing early in the morning. As I walked past one of them holding a beer can asked me something in Lithuanian. Instinct told me not to answer and I shrugged politely looking confused.
