The division Speaker, Frank Lubega, said the council resolved to take action against the increasing immoral trade to save the image of the division and the lives of its residents. Speaking during the budget conference on Tuesday, Lubega said they were alarmed by reports that some men, especially transit truck drivers in the town, were paying sh50, for anal sex. Lubega added that the sex workers were enticing other young girls from Kakyafu, Kitaka and Banya zone in Nyendo to join them. The Nyendo town clerk, Emmanuel Mugisha, said the UN-Habitat had given the division shm to improve the resdents' standards of living.
